The high-pressure pump (HPP) is responsible for compressing the fuel supplied by the electric fuel pump to the pressure required for high-pressure injection. Electric fuel pumps generate positive electrical pressure in fuel lines, which drives fuel to the internal combustion engine.

Marine fuel pumps are necessary for engine operation. Engines require gas to run, and fuel pumps supply that gas under pressure to ensure both smooth running and efficient engine operation. Boat fuel pumps convey the fuel from the gas tank directly to the individual cylinders.
